Lots of Ribbon
Ok, so when I started my little ribbon projects I figured 4 rolls of ribbon would be plenty to do what I wanted. Well…I was very wrong. I wound up having to buy 4 more. Well, I only used 3 of the last 4 I bought, but it’s better to have more than I need than less (like the first time). What I’ve been doing with the ribbon is tying it on the bells and bubbles for when Cory and I leave after the reception. 
I also changed the string stuff that was on my guestbook to ribbon too. It did have some white string holding it together. I didn’t like it a whole lot, so I changed it to the blue ribbon.
I was so extremly excited when I found that guestbook on our trip to Springfield. 
I saw one online one day but they wanted way too much for it but I fell in love with it anyways.
I also made Djini (my flower girl and Cory’s daughter) a bracelet with daisies on it. I haven’t put a claspy thing on one end because I don’t know how small it needs to be. I will have to finish it on Saturday when we go to pick her up.
I have pictures of the garters too. Mamaw made these for me a few weeks ago. The one with the lace on it is the one I will keep. The lace is from my mom’s veil which she took off her grandmas wedding dress for her veil. So that is my something old and sense the garter is made from bluejeans it is also my something blue.
I also went to pick up the rings today. Nothing special, just plain white gold bands. But here they are.

Wrap It In Denim
Moma fixed up the glasses for the wedding today. The pictures aren’t that great, but pretty good for being taken with her cellphone.
She also did the pens for the guest book today.
I would have better pictures but I’m not home to take them right now. So these will have to do. I really don’t know if it’s my dad’s computer or if they are actually that crapy looking. I will just have to find out when I get home I guess.
Shopping!
Went shopping today for a bunch of wedding stuff. I think we (me, my mom and my grandma) did pretty good. Got everything on the list except for 2 things. One we can find at WalMart we think and the other hopefully can be borrowed from a friend.
Hannah (MOH) finally mailed her pants today. My bridesmaids are going to be wearing skirts made out of a pair of pants cut off about at the crotch with blue and white fabric down to the knees. She kept calling and texting me while we were in Michaels today. People were looking at me funny when I said that we were cutting them at the crotch. lol.
I’ve decided what I’m going to do for my bridesmaids, but I’m not going to say on here because I know one of them reads it. I will say it’s a crafty project that I will have fun with. Another crafty thing is that I’m going to make Djini (Cory’s daughter and my flower girl) A bracelet out of these cute daisy beads Mama found. Mama is also planning to put one of the daisies on mine and my bridesmaids flip flops (which we also got today).
There is a lot more that we got but I can’t remember everything. Most of it is already put away waiting for the wedding day to be brought back out. Well, probably a day or so before…but ya know what I mean.
Bring Your Own Potato Salad
We had a meeting with Tammie tonight. (Tammie is my lifesaver) We talked about everything that has to be done before the wedding (1 month away) and it’s a lot. lol. Ok, not funny, stressful. But we will get through it. I hope. :worried:
As for the title… We were talking about the food we plan to have and Tammie mentioned the potato salad that she likes, her husband doesn’t like it so he said it was a “bring your own potato salad wedding”. lol.
We mainly talked food, because that’s what Tammie is doing. All we have to do is buy most of it and she is going to make all of it. Even the cake. Her and Kareen (her daughter and long time friend of mine) love to make cakes, so the first thing they said when we told them we were engaged was “we will do the cake” and then Tammie was volunteered to do the rest of the food. She is an awesome cook.
I also got some hairpins from Kareen that I plan on using in my hair for the wedding. It will also serve as my something borrowed.
I just love the first 3.
O, and a picture I keep forgetting to add, the flower girl dress! Djini (aka Cory’s daughter) is going to be my flower girl. We found the dress the other day when my mom and I went shopping for wedding stuff. It was %40 off too!
And I do have pictures of the wedding invitations, but I promised Cory that he could see them before the rest of the world. So that will be on here later.

I love it. Why do I love it so much. One, because we say that this is forever a lot. Two, because he drives a truck and is gone during the week (the distance part). I think it’s great. I sent it to him in a text and he called me asking why I had to be so gay all the time. lol. But I could tell by his voice that he thought that it was sweet.
So, tomorrow I’m going over to Tammi’s to work on the invitations and other ideas and such for the wedding. She is printing a sample one for me tonight so we can decide if we (I) like it and if there should be ribbon or something else on it. I will be sure to take my camera so that y’all can see them too. I’ll have to take pics with my phone for Cory sense he isn’t here right now.
O and here are some pictures of what I’m kind of wanting.
Basically the only difference in my cake is that mine will have white and blue daisies on it instead.
What the daisies are going to look like.
To get the blue for the cake we are going to put some in blue food colored water long enough for it to soak it up and change the color.
And the only difference is I don’t plan on having quite as many daisies and instead of white ribbon on it it will be tied together with a piece of bluejean fabric.
Cake Topper
I’m still not happy with the CSS on here, there is something just not quite right about the font or something. :/ I’m also wanting to add a image header plugin thingy.
Anyways, the cake topper got here today! I’m so happy. Moma kept forgetting about it, then when she did order it it was on back order and she didn’t tell me because she was afraid to. But it got here in plenty of time. Now I need to take it to Tami who is making the cake and all the other food for us. It’s nice having friends that can do that stuff for you.

Layout
Ok, so I have been attempting to make my own layout for this site, it’s just not working for me. 
It has been forever sense I have tried to code a wordpress layout. It actually makes me mad that I’m having trouble with it. But it’s ok, I will figure it out before too long. I think it’s partly because I have gotten used to doing it the easy way and using dreamweaver. :/
Anyways. I was going to take some pictures of me in my dress today, but decided not to. Only because there are no longer hooks in the top. We need to find some smaller hooks for it to work and look right. So my grandma says she is going to look for some when the go to another town this Wednesday. I really hope she finds some. If she can’t then I might have to check online some. :/
Lately any free time my mom has she has been spending it outside. You see, I’m having the reception here and outside, so it has to look nice for the big day. Ben helps some too, but not as much as Moma does. I was going to help today but my neck has been killing me. It hurts to move it at all…so I’m hoping it’s better by tomorrow and I can help some. Maybe.
Half a Dress
The top half of my dress is done! Well, when I last saw it it didn’t have the hooks on it to hold it together, we used pins to make sure it would look right and everything. But I’m going to my grandmas tonight and she said it would be completely done. Oh yeah, I’m excited. Next is the skirt which won’t be as hard to make. She may have started it today. She said she wasn’t sure if she was going to or not. I guess I will find out in a few hours. I would take pictures of it when I try it on but Cory reads this sometimes and he doesn’t want to see it before the wedding, which I’m totally fine with. I don’t want him to see it either.
Moma and I went to get the ribbon for it on Saturday. We planned on getting the ribbon then going to Michaels and/or Hobby Lobby but we got distracted at the mall. lol Getting something to wear for the honeymoon (if ya know what I mean). It was really weird shopping for that with my mom. But other than the weirdness it was fun. You should have seen us in Victoria Secret. lol. I couldn’t help but laugh at most the stuff. I’m not girly and NOT into lacy things. So I sometimes find it funny to see other girls oooo and aaahhing over stuff like that.
A Little Cottage
I just booked a little cottage for the Honeymoon. I was so happy when the lady said that it wasn’t reserved yet. I expected a weekend in June to be booked. They only have two cottages there so I was a little worried. Anyways, we are staying for two nights and it’s not costing us an arm and a leg.

Fabric and Honeymoon
I ment to blog way sooner, and I started it, but for some reason I didn’t finish.
Anyways. I have the fabric picked out for my dress. I really like it. It’s soft and one of the more expensive ones. Not that that had anything to do with me choosing it, but it was more costly. :/ Me, Moma, and Meme made a day of it. We went out to eat and then to the fabric store. We were trying to find a craft store but we couldn’t find the one we were looking for and the one we did find wasn’t open. I guess that’s what we get for going on a Sunday. Oh well, just me and Moma will go next time.
So now Meme has started sewing my dress. She got Moma to cut out the pattern because she hates doing it. I’m sure Moma does too now. She isn’t far enough along to have me try any of it on yet, but I can’t wait!
It’s less than two months before the wedding! I can’t believe it. There is still so much to be done! We are meeting with Tami on Friday to discuss a few things. Tami is a family friend of ours and is pretty much completely taking care of the reception for me. She is such a life saver.
Today I was looking at some honeymoon packages. We are going to Hot Springs for the honeymoon. I would like to actually get out and do a little bit while we are there, but I know Cory is just going to want to stay at the hotel. But then again, I think he will want to get out too. He will eventually decide that he is bored or something. There is this garden there that was mentioned in a lot of the packages, so I might see if I can find a website for it and we might go there. Tami will probably know some places to go also, she went recently.
